I'm in need for some new rubber for my scooter. Is buying from the track vendor more expensive then purchasing from a local shop? I know, I know, it depends on the shop... :)
Does anyone know who the tire vendor is at thunderbolt?
Thanks!

Well, Moon only sells Pirelli, and they beat everybody's prices. So if you want Pirelli...

I bought a set at my last trackday with the free mounting you cant beat the price.

I was hoping for Pilot Powers since that's what I've been running with.

Yeah, same here, but NESBA is sponsored by Pirelli, so that's all you can get.

Do you know of any good cheap shops for tires around us? My profile will say Langhorne, PA once I update it :)

To be honest... I'd just deal with it and get Corsa3s unless you want to pay $40 extra for the 2CTs after mounting/etc. I paid $270 for them this weekend, similar 2CTs would have been $275 + mounting/balancing from sportbiketrackgear.
Before joining NESBA I always just had my local dealer do an online pricematch and purchased locally.

What's the process for buying tires at the track? Do I take a number and get in line, sign up before hand, get there at dawn, etc...?
How do I check prices etc.?
Thanks.

Look at the numerous threads he's posted. You order ahead of time and just pick them up at the trailer, or drop off your wheels.
You have to email for prices. Corsa3s were $270/set for 180s, last I checked.

I used to run Pilot Powers (not the 2CT) and I really like the Diablo Corsa IIIs. If you like the powers, you'll like these. NESBA's prices are awesome. Give a set a try, you won't be disappointed.
You can preorder them through Chris Moon by emailing parts@nesba.com and pick them up at a trackday (and have them mounted and balanced as well, but you need to remove the wheels from you bike). I think he may ship them as well.

:)I switched from Pilot Powers to the Perelli DC3 and love them. They have great feel and grip.
