I GOT THE BUMP!! Bumpty-bump!
Big props to DJ and Rob - the CR's who worked with me all day Sat. at Barber and gave me the bump to Advanced. I learned so much from both you guys, just about carrying speed and using the track to the best of the motorcycle's capability. I was just blown away by how fast you guys could motor right past me anywhere, no matter how fast I was moving or how smooth I was laying it down. I really enjoyed the process, and look forward to following you guys around (for a little while) in Advanced.
Big, big props to Derek, who took a bunch of his time to help my buddy & I get his R6 figured out. Just how does a shop mechanic forget to put back in three of the four main jets, anyway? And how does a motorcycle even run with three of the four main jets missing? But that's a whole 'nother thread...
See you guys back down at Barber in October, if not sooner (MotoGP trip is screwing up my September track funding...)
