i have to say .. i have riden with clubs that resemble a monkey f*cking a football... and i have riden with clubs that i THOUGHT were run very well and on point...
NESBA you got it hands DOWN!!!!
from check in ... to riders meetings.. to your CR's... NOT ENOUGH can be said about the CR's...
no need to name them off... they know who they are .. and they are TOP OF THE GAME
willing to take the time to show "proper" hanging off the bike body position ... to "lines'' that no one really knew ...cause it was new to everyone (the track)...
to really ensuring that EVERYONE had a good time .. had fun .. and did it SAFELY!!!!!!!!!!!
i had it set in my head to avoid pocono's cause it was childs play compared to the lightning and thunder tracks... but with NESBA running it ... i would not hesitate ..
i know ill leave names out and some i never got ... but DUTCH, MORPH, ORTEGA, MIKE D., and the cr riding the kawi with the blue and green tank ...
and EVERYONE... support staff and all CR's...
THANK YOU !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I backed out when my car lost a battle with a parking block getting oil to finish prepping the 848. They say bad stuff happens in 3s; after tearing up the 1098R on Saturday, then the car, I didn't want to get anywhere near the track.
The kid that used my truck to take the 1098R to the dealer called yesterday afternoon; he backed it into a pole. That was the third thing - now I'm safe to head to NJMP on Monday. :D

I'm sure a can at the very least speak for the B groups CR's and say you're very welcome. And thanks for the love. We really love our jobs and our club. But remember this one thing. Club is as only is good as it's members. And I personally feel we have the best members of any club hands down.

I will say this the track was great and I am glad we keep the members happy and safe. It seems like at the end of the day no one had a bad time.
I even got a chance to redeem the club to a member
who was not happy with not being bumped up at VIR to I.
At the end of the day he was more then happy to stay in B
and had no problems with the club.
I just wish there was more time, so many people I wanted to work with.
I was doing doubles as much as i could to work with people in I and B.
I am paying for it today big time I am frigging hella tired.

YEAH ABOUT MONDAY !!!!
Now its my turn to say bad things happen in 3's
The company I work for has been having finanicial problems for sometime now
and its not looking good.
#1 They had a round of layoffs earlier this summer.
#2 Then They informed me that when I go back to school my hours will be cut to working 3 days a week.
#3 Today they informed everyone to start looking for new employment
I will call your Gas cap, Bumper, and trailer and
raise you an unemployment check.
LOL
Know any good Part time work for a soon to be unemployeed CR.

Looking forward to it!!

This was my first track day too...WOW....'came in and just didn't know what to expect...almost didn't unload my bike (lol)....best i can say was ALL the riders around me were just awesome..helpful and friendly...just can't say that enough...what a great grp of peeps...from helping me unload my bike off the pickup (that gets me more nervous than going on the track) to setting up my canopy (never did that) to getting thru the system...really made the day great...
Pretty much perfectly organized from registration to track...CRs seemed alittle overwhelmed so didn't get alot of time...but did follow one around the track for a bit which was great...
Only small issue was passing in the beginner grp...being first time on track that was startling at first..and there were some passes on the curves that in the first run had me off the track (no wipe)...maybe the idea of no passing except in long straight for first one or two sessions of the day might not be such a bad idea if there are total newbies in the grp...pretty much wasn't and issue for me as i got use to it after that...amazing how fast' u can pick stuff up...overall GREAT experience..and yes i am addicted and will be back in OCT....

The ride home was rough.
I am so out of shape its not even funny.
Im riding about 25lbs heavier than I am used too, 1 bad knee, and I CR'ed in all the I am B group sessions pretty much so i was in pain to say the least.
Then my wife falls asleep the whole way home LOL other than that the ride was great ride home.
With that said would do it again in a heart beat.
How was your trip.
I would do poconos but B group is full and my wife will not want to go to just watch me im sure. So its in the air for now.

i PM'd you on sunday ... keep me posted...
i have room for your bikes if we can get 2 spots (in the trailer... if you wanted to run down together like that ... save on gas and shit .. .)

Aug 25th.. This was my first day with NESBA.. been signed up for a year and finally got to get on the track. WHAT AN AMAZING TRACK!!! we are so lucky.. after Pocono East and moving from Summit Main to Shenandoah.. Thunderbolt is a slice of heaven if not heaven itself.
I'm Just coming off an extensive knee injury. Thankfully this track didn't have more than 2 left turns :)
To all the CR's who took a LOT of 1 on 1 time with me.. THANK YOU SO MUCH.
scraping my toes was getting really scary!! and you fixed that.
Also thank god Miller is OK. It was unsettling to say the least when the guy ran into you from behind right in front of me. I was really impressed the way you shook him off your bike like it was a minor incident.
Hope the other rider he took out is going to be ok too. The crash looked nasty.
Other than that incident, i really thought that the B group ran very smoothly. I can only compare this to TPM and their ART Basic training for first time on the track..
I loved the controlled environment that NESBA provided. And the specific instruction for no passing and no horse play. I could tell that the CR's cared enough to try and fix some pretty bad habits early on, so we could practice and get better.
Even though the group was pretty large, i could always see the orange shirts. either coming up on me or way ahead of me. Either way, i knew you were out there. And i wish i had a chance to thank you all personally.
Dave.. thanks for saying hi, Clint's been trying to see me out with nesba for a while.
I felt very welcome, despite the intimidating track.. wow that was fast, smooth and incredible. Really glad that wasn't my first time on a track or i think i'd have had more pucker factor going on.
Can i ride NJMP all next season please??!! --minus the construction and dust of course.
and having Mike Himmelsbok (sp?) show me body position after lunch... PRICELESS!!!

When I came up on you out of turn 1 before that accident happened it looked like your body position wasn't bad granted I'm no expert. That wreck happened pretty quick. Guy on the red honda dislocated his shoulder from what his buddy told me.
Just remember what Mike taught you. That 130 + 450 = 600 lbs
