I took a look at the NASA South East Region website (http://nasa-se.com/schedule.php), and I see they are listed as being at Road Atlanta there as well. They have full details and a list of entrants, so they are expecting to run.
Most people who could respond to this would have been at Road A until this evening. I am sure it will be looked into and answered shortly.

Just got an email from DJ, they are canceling it due to low number of registers and previous years weather issues. Guess they don't feel the need to tell anyone though...:banghead:

Please be accurate when quoting what I say/write. For clarity here is the email I sent a few mins ago:
"Dear NESBA Member,
As a registered member of our December Road Atlanta event, we would like to inform you of a recent change.
This event will be cancelled within the next 24 hours. Due to the extremely low registered attendees, we are making this change to move the event into the 2011 season. We intend on adding an additional spring 2011 Road Atlanta event to the calendar. We believe that a spring event will be more favorable to most of the members and increased odds of a favorable track condition.
Each member will be issued full credit and if requested, ALL EVENT REFUNDEDS WIIL BE GRANTED (email info@nesba.com). If you are a new member and purchased a membership solely for this event, you can request a membership refund. They will be honored."

Probably a good decision. December here can be nice but would probably be nasty. Lots of rain and cold then.

What about my post in inaccurate? Is the event being cancelled? Yes, Why is the event being cancelled? LOW Registered Attendees and increased odds of a favorable track condition in the spring AKA December weather sucks in GA! I'm sorry for paraphrasing what you wrote-
P.S. What if we have some track credits left over after our refunds? Will they expire at the end of this year? I want to use my money to buy track days that I will be attending SOON... not next year, yet I don't want to let track credits go to waste simply because you guys decided to change the schedule.

" I'm sorry for paraphrasing what you wrote"
Apology accepted.
If credtits expire as a result of this event being cancelled, then NESBA will extend your credits for another year. This is the same response you would have recieved if you emailed info@nesba.com.
Teamck16, Any additional questions you may have on this topic should be directed to info@nesba.com. If for some reason you do not get your issue resolved email me with the ticket #.

Hey Chad,
Try not to spend too much time in that suckage. I planned to go also, but wasn't going to sign up until I could see the forecast a few days prior. I suspect that is the MO for most people doing a track date in December.
Look at it this way, you are likely to get better weather in spring!
It looks like Barber this Saturday will be my last one for 2010. Does anyone want to go to the museum on Sunday with me?
