My daughter (20 years old) was riding too. She was on her 2008 R6. Here's a shot from her front wheel. On her first lap in this video, in turn 5, she drags her left footpeg (audible in the video). It spooked her for turn 5 for the rest of the session:

Her bike is lowered for street use so she can reach the ground. We'll have to raise it back up for future track days for her.

That's a GoPro HD running in 720p mode at 60fps. I uploaded the videos the YouTube in HD quality. I was very pleased with how well the GoPro handles light and color - Even turned straight into the sun, it didn't wash out - Very, very impressive.

sweet...looks like you all rolling pretty good...
and good to hear more women in this sport always..may just want to get rear sets and raise the pegs..vs raising the bike.

foot placement should be such that peg never drags...but toe drags first. letting you know peg will be next.

Lowering a bike also changes the geometry. IMO it is better that she learn to ride the stock height then later add rearsets, the bike will handle better. Oh and for a laugh she could have come over and watched me get on the RC, it is a bit taller due to suspension and slicks then add in my short legs :o

 lol
Aftermarket rearsets instead of raising the bike to stock height? Come on now...
If you're dragging pegs on a late model sportbike you're doin' something wrong :) The bike being lowered surely doesn't help.
Have you looked into alternative ways of lowering the seat height at all? You really are neutering a bike like the R6 by doing that, as she found out last weekend.
Looks like you were moving pretty good. I need to get myself an HD gopro.
