I have a 2010 Honda CBR 1000RR that I crashed at Barber a few months ago. It scratched my right side clutch case cover so I bought a new one for the 2008 CBR, off of ebay, and it is the same part # as the original and everything fit and works perfectly. I had it installed at a Honda dealer. After this weekend and my track day at Barber, I noticed that the pin that the clutch cable attaches to that goes down into the clutch case cover is sliding up and down 1/4" to 1/2". Is this normal? I do not remember it ever doing this. the bike still shifts correctly and I do not see any oil leaking out. I have to pass a "tech" at Litty Tally next weekend. Any ideas on what is going on?
