I just bought a used set of old style (one temp) chicken hawk warmers.

The one LED does not work but they get hot. Just for the heck of it I stuck my wifes meat thermometer in there and after 15 minutes it was up to 200F and still rising!!!??

Is this normal, or is there supposed to be some kind of thermostat that kicks these off at 175?

Thanks,

E-mail david @ chicken hawk - Or call them. They will take a look at the warmers and fix anything wrong with them very inexpensively

We'll I've definitely figured out that the rear Thermostat is not working.

Hope C. Hawk will fix this for me.

They will no probelm.. they're great there - very customer service friendly.. did you contact them at all yet? .. their ability to fix small problems like that is one reason why their warmers are so great.

very inexpensively

Don't get your hopes up....lol!! You must of had better luck than me. Although I guess I shouldn't complain, they can fix them unlike must other companies.
