WERA had the 1st National race of 2009 this weekend at Roebling Road. The lap record was broken on Sunday. Trey Betay set it at a 1:11.3 in I think 2007, (it was after the repave) on a GSXR 1000 and Tim Hunt broke it with a 1:10.5 on a GSXR 1000 in the formula 1 race. :wow:
That is fast. Tim sure knows how to ride.

is the WERA website messed up ... it says Tim's finished 5th in ...only shows 2 races ??

I don't know about the web site today, I haven't logged on today. The race that Tim broke the record he did finish 5th. I usually check the results on mylaps.

what a let down... break the record and come in 5th! that sux!
seems like he won about every race a Tally... and i know for a fact he won every race at Jennings.
guess the difference was Jensen, Batey, Jacobi, etc. ! ...duh!:doh:
