Steph your bikes should be fine. NESBA is a pretty tight group and we watch out for each other just intro yourself to those around you and make sure you set up near someone staying at the track.
If you get there set up your canopy and and move the bikes under. Cable them together and drop your canopy down low over them good to go. Where are you guys staying while down in HOTLANTA.

Yes, the gate usually opens to us in the late afternoon. I don't know if RA has a set time that they begin letting people in, but I would be surprised if we didn't have access by 5:00 pm on Thursday. Most people who have motel room leave their bikes at the track. Just go ahead and set up your pit area so that you are mostly ready to go on Friday morning. Like Mike said, just lower your canopy down over the bikes and if you want to lock them together it probably isn't a bad idea. I used to do that back in the day too, but truthfully it probably isn't necessary. Once they open the gate on Thursday you will have 24 hour access until Sunday evening. There is more info on RA in the FAQ sticky in the Southeast Forum.
