No need to hunt, just find Pitmomma and let her know you are hungry.

Greetings anyone in the DC area willing or able to share a ride to Nelson? Turns out racing is more expensive than I thought.

Yep! I was going to leave a couple of hours ago and do practice, but screw that! I would just be a road hazzard. So I am going to leave around 5am that should put me there around 3pm or so, just in time to get some tires swapped out for Sat. Ill just have you guys tow me around during practice to learn the track, there only so much you can learn from a youtube video.. Yep 10hours and I am going light (no trailer).

Ride hard and ride safe. Good luck to all of you. And Katie don't beat up on the guys too much
so how did it go for everyone? I was driving back from Beave Sunday night, and there were quite a few WERA riders going the opposite way on 76 :)
if Beave hadn't been such a great time, I would have had more regrets about not watching the Nelson round.

i had a rough start to the weekend.. Decided to mess with my suspension before my solo and did everything wrong. I ended up coming in because i was fighting with everything I had to keep the bike on the track only running 15s.... Joe fixed it for me (THANK YOU SO MUCH!!) and I went back out Sunday with 10000% of a better bike.
I had horrible starts for all my races, but ended up with :
a 1st (WSS)
a 5th (CSS)
a 6th (CSB).
I wanted all podiums, but oh well... Summit is coming in a month and so is BeaveRun! Gotta piss off my neighbors and practice starts in the driveway i guess!

Dale was kicking some butt out there along with alot of other Nesbians too! Great job everyone!!

I was horrible...but it was a good learning weekend. Congrats to Dale, Katie, Garrett, Emerson (no more orange shirt!). Congrats to Drew on the final race -- great finish you are on the way. Great racing Ron and everyone else. Thanks to Joe, Jane, and Mikey for all the help.
See you all (in a week NESBA -- in a month WERA) at Summit.

Congrats to everyone! Good weekend, but could have been better.
I started well, but didn't finish so well.
solo 20 - 2nd - Got down to the 1.11. My previous best was around 1.14.
CSS - DNF - T4 crash - I was making up time all day in this section, then T4 asked for all that time back. :D
CSB - 5th
Katie, as bad as your starts were, I started in front of you in the solo, but you passed me into T1. lol. Looks like we both have some work to do! Sorry for holding you up in the CSB race - I lost my balls, er.. confidence in T4 of the CSS race.
I found some new bumps at Nelson, as if I didn't know enough of them already.
I continue to learn a lot about myself through racing. It has been a great avenue for me to explore my personal limits. Now I just need to transform these new personal bests into consistent laps.
Thanks to everyone who helped put the bike back together after the crash. Emerson, Joe's Garage, Katie, Drew, MRP Motorsports, Quinton, Ron, Scott, Kubricky.... I was off sulking and suddenly the bike was back together. Lol.

Well me i didn't do as well as i had hoped, i did the solo on sat, had a bad start but by lap 10 i was in 5th or 6th then in lap 11 i went off in the kink, but was able to keep it up, got a bit spooked and decided not to finish the race.
Sunday i did the ASS and i got an even worse start, i was in 9th by turn one and was able to finish 4th.
In F1 guess what i had an even worst start then the last two (stalled the bike and the guy behind me got me on my left leg with his foot peg as he tried to avoid hitting me. By the time i got the bike started again, i was so far behind i didnt see anyone for a whole lap. i was able to pass a few people but still haven't had a chance to see where i finished.
Overall tho it was a good weekend, had a blast with good friends, brought the bike back in one piece, cant really ask for more.
Would like to thank Joe's Garage racing for their support, Dale, Scott, Ron, Drew, and Chris for all their advice! See you guys at summit!!

Definitely a weekend of ups and downs for everyone. But overall a good weekend.
Got out on the 750 for the first time this year on Saturday. Decent start and stayed with a pack of 3 guys battling for 4 place we swapped places a few times over the 20 laps. Saved a massive highside out of 13:eek:.. finished 6th.
Sunday I just was not aggressive enough off the start in the CSS and got caught in a freight train into turn one and got swallowed. Ended up 12th.
Got a great start in the CSB race and kept the elbows out. Put my head down and battled for position the whole race. Ended up 7th with 5 of us within a second of each other. Pushed hard to run a 1:09.1
Bsb went great on the FIRST start. Stayed with the group fighting for 4th when someone blew their motor in front of us and he went down on the 4th lap. Complete restart of the race and I didnt get as good of a start. Was past a guy into the kink when he decided to kamikaze the kink. I was leaning on his leg when I ran out of track and bombed through the grass. Couldnt believe I kept it up. That took me out of the race, ended up 13th.
Fun weekend at the Nelson! Appreciate the love guys.. Joe and I are pushing hard to get there. Soon;)
Thanks to Joe's Garage (Joe, Mike, Jane) for all the help. Great job Nesbians.
See ya at summit this weekend to play a little:D

Drew that 750 is vexed, I am sure of it. There is a palm reader /gypsy in town and I am going to ask her for some help...
Oh yeah a tip of the hat to Terrance, for lending us a wheel for the GSXR. Without it we would have been in a fix. It was straight off of his personal bike.

Good times by all and congrats to everyone! Nelson is one hard track to pick up even if you've been there a couple of times. Seems like it's the only track that doesn't change every year like summit!
For some reason, I've been pretty quite this year in the paddock I must be maturing...lol!

I'm kinda late on this considering Summit Point is coming up but o well!
Thursday/Friday: We left NC at 2pm and got to Ohio around 11pm. Johnny, Heidel and I set up shop and went to sleep at 12. We woke up Friday early and had amazing track time all day Friday. It was a skills enhancement day for 120 bucks! I had fun playing in the wet track in the morning and sliding the bike around in the morning and in the afternoon it was beautiful.
Saturday: we got some good practice in and the solo for sure kicked my butt. I got 10th because Katie gave me a position when she was fighting the bike the entire time and pitted out. 20 laps for some reason did me in well and after the race I got a great nights sleep.
Sunday: My very first race was intense. My lower flew off on the straight in practice and I got chewed out by the race director and a nice honorable mention in the riders meeting. I spent the entire time that I had fixing my bike up because I was the very first race of the day. Thank you sooo much to everyone who helped me get everything back together. Third and final call for the race and Matt was like " I think you should go get in your leathers now" I made it out just in time for the race. it was probably one of my best races for me as I was stalking 8th place and in the last lap I saw he had a little moment in the kink, as their was still a bit of water in the apex. I flew out of his slip stream and went ahead of him on the brakes in the inside of turn 12, I took the checkered and came back to find out all the rushing made me forget my transponder so I finished with a DNF :( bummer but I was so happy to race and have some good battles that I got over it and looked to my next and final race.
B superstock: was fun, I finished 10th and was happy with that. For the rest of the day I watched and helped Johnny and Matt out. We got back in to NC at 4am and woke up at 6am and we all went to VIR where we had a hell of a good time.
Congrats to everyone, specially Drewbie I saw him go off at the kink (150-160mph) I never saw a dirt bike do those speeds until I saw Drew nice job with all the moments you had!
It was also really really good to see Scott Rosey!!
I'm excited about Summit Point!! who all is going?
