Who's going and where do you plan to stay?

Anyone want to go in on a place at the track the night of the 31st?

I'm in! Can't wait!! :D
Not sure where I'm staying yet. Either camping or the Quality Inn, most likely.

I'm new to American racing scene and the East Coast so here are the dumb questions-
Is camping allowed at NJMP?

If you stay at the Quality Inn, how do you sleep knowing your precious machine sits unattended in the back of your truck!

This makes me lean towards getting a Suite at NJMP if someone wants to share the cost.

Yup, camping is allowed there. There's a $10 fee, whether you're staying one night or a weekend, but they seldom ask at the gate, so I didn't have to pay last time.

I've stayed at the Quality Inn and have had no problem there. I do have an enclosed trailer, but I saw plenty of open trailers and pick-ups there. You can leave your stuff at the track, too. I think I saw in the Northeast section that the suites at T-bolt are already full. You could try and call.

Ducfast,

First, welcome!! Always good to see people bringing it to the track. My suggestion is if you're going to grab a hotel, get to the track a little early, find a spot to setup & leave your bike and gear. We look out for each other, so your stuff will be ok. Then head to your hotel room & get a peaceful nights sleep. Just my suggestion.....

Was there recently and BEWARE the flying teeth called gnats are insane. They will bite any and every exposed piece of flesh you have! Bring bug juice or DIE. Survivor bugs have nothing on these invisible man eaters.
Fortunately there are two distinct feeding times that are noticeably worse then other times. That's early morning around tech and evening around pack up / sun down.
The only thing remotely more dangerous is a New Jersey beach.:dunno:

Come on out Kev. I believe the gate has staff all night. Now the tricky part is if they have someone to take your camping fee all night. Worst possible case is you sleep in your vehicle on the access road. Not going to happen but it could. Anyway that road is huge and still inside the first set of gates. But once again this is not going to happen Nesba has access all night.

SAW an UPDATE 6:30-10 gate times

anyone know what they charge for electric?

$20 I believe. But they've never had a problem with people splitting it as long as they get the money per box.
