Hey scotty, no worries man. We all start somewhere.
My buddy Jeff, who was on the black busa #75, was looking for you. He's normally a lonely guy being the only busa rider in B group. He wanted to introduce himself and talk shop.
I didn't know that was you on the other busa. You help Capt. Curt and I get his R6 out of the truck in the am. Thanks for the help and hope to see you at the track again.

Scott, thank you for the kind words. You were progressing REALLY well throughout the sessions. It was great to talk with you and I look forward to working with you again. Make SURE you track me down at the next event. Great job out there.

...thumbs up for miller!
you are one of the best and most passionate teachers out there. i still remember our class in jefferson over a year ago ... it helped me a lot... a few track days later u bumped me to "I" and now i'm working hard on progressing forward,
thanks a lot!!!
overall good day. had a chance to learn a new bike (as mine kinda died on saturday at VIR, little sv 650) a friend lend me for a day. a cbr600rr , man ohh, man is that a wild animal or what? compare to sv 650... i know, u r laughing now "morf" u had a chance to be witness to my morning struggle :o thanks 4 being concern w/my lack of speed/confidence and all that...
that shows that u do really care, thank you!!! i'm a little ambarassed to admitt that, that morning everybody was passing me... it felt like 1st day in the "B" group....lapin' well above 2 min.....
as the day progressed i was more and more comfortable w/this bike, diff. ergos, diff handling, 30+ more hp, quiker turn in then i'm used to, ultra sharp brakes (thats the only issue i had left at the end of the day, they just to touchy, to hard for me to modulate, thats why i was loosing tons of time in braking zones, braking way too early, not feeling w/brakes at home). other then that i got bit by extra power bug of that bike, feelin' the front so light acceleratin out of the corners at the end of the day- holllly rubber! found out that cbr ergos suit me better, felt less cramped and more natural, also hanging out and moving around on the bike was much easier for me...lap times in the last session went down another 3 sec. comp. to previous one to 1'38"...and i never pushed my comfort zone as i remembered the bike must go back to his owner unscatched. looks like its time to step up the game for next season...
thanks to all who attended & behaved, hope to see ya soon on the track

Everyone can benefit from 30 seconds with Mike Miller.
And, your buddy Jeff on the #75 BUSA handles that bike like none other I have seen in person. I must admit I was scared to death when I saw him roll onto pit lane. After riding behind him, I was super impressed. Great job!

LOL! Jeff will appreciate the comment Jody. He really liked your hopped up 600 too. Sorry I didn't meet you, I'm too slow LOL! (I was on the Red VFR).
Yeah Jeff is a mad man on his Busa. We both became MSF coaches together and have been good friends since. He sold his pure sportbikes and started sport touring. That happened right when I started to explore doing track days. Jeff basically said well its the bike I've got, just ride!
I love the looks he gets becasue I know whats about to happen. When someone says a Busa can't turn I just laugh.
Hope to see you at the track.
Peace,
Dan

I totally agree......another awesome day out at NJMP, and I can't say enough about all the CR's out there who work so hard, yet are so cool out on the track.....great guys all of them, and I wanna say a special thanks to CR Miller.....
I could go on about how he helped me unload my bike first thing that morning, or about how he gave me a little advice on my ramps. I could tell you how he pulled me out of line to work with me, how he talked to me about my lines on while we waited on the grid, or about how at both my last TD at NJMP on June 1st or this past TD on the 20th, how he was such a great teacher. I could tell you how a big thumbs up from CR Miller while catching a tow from him just really made my day.....I could get into all of that.....
But then there's THIS. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bbf1kiyM8ls)

That was awesome. I was in line just to the left of you when that was going down. Laughed through the first lap. He is pretty fast for a big guy in a funny shirt and on an old tank! Woot!
