Two questions from a n00b...

1) With putting numbers on your bike. Do you guys paint a white or yellow spot on the tail and front for placing numbers or do you place white or yellow stickers on before you number? I have some time before my next planned TD so I actually want to give my track fairings some love since I have nothing better to do.

Also, leaving space for two on the rear and one on the front seems to give me options to follow rules of most TD orgs, correct?

2) I'm trying to understand my tire wear from my TD this past Sunday at summit point. I think the rear is pretty good. I see some ripples along the middle part that taper off in intensity as I get to the edges on either side. Does this mean my rebound is off slightly? Up front, I think I just need some work period. I don't know what is up with that shag. I do have some braking chatter problems up front that I can't get dialed out so wonder if that is compounding things. Oh and for the observant ones, yes, I put the front on backwards. Don't prep your bike half sleep....

2CT's with 2 TDs on them. Bike: 09 zx6r, stock suspension, 5mm shims in rear, baseline setup
A few years ago several of us purchased a large quantity of these to provide to NESBA members free of charge. There have been crashes in the past where having this info immediately available to the EMS workers would have been helpful. If you would like to have a medical data carrier to place on your helmet Chuck has a bag full of them in the vendor trailer. All you have to do is stop by and see him and ask for one. Again, they are free and it's a really good idea. I'd really like to see more and more people using these. I've been wearing one on my helmets since 2009.

I have a lightly used set of standard Pilot Powers in 120/70 & 180/55. They were installed last April at a local shop. Only used on the street, around 700 miles on them. Front is almost new, very little wear, some of the tire hairs are still on the tread area. The rear is about 65% in the center, and fades to 100 percent towards the edges (read chicken strips). I can ship, or local pickup. I live between Harrisburg and York, PA so could even meet around those two cities. For shipping PM me your zip and I'll quote it.
Asking 110 for the set plus shipping.
I made it using software called DashWare. It takes your video and data (from a GPX or other laptimer), you sync the two, then configure how you want everything displayed. It makes GPX data that much more useful when you see overlayed on the video.
