  • 2011 848 Evo Race Bike

In typical Ryan fashion, I'm being ADHD with my bikes and selling the 848 I picked up at the end of last season. Specs are as follows:

2011 Ducati 848 Evo (MSO in hand, ~ 800 miles)

    Dan Kyle Triple Clamps
    Dan Kyle Rear Link
    Ducati Rear Height Adjuster
Ohlins 30mm Fork Kit (~160lb rider)
Ohlins TTX Rear Shock (~160lb rider)
    Ohlins Steering Damper
    Vortex Rear Sets
    Yoyodyne Fairing Stay
    Lightweight Rear Subframe
    Frame sliders
    Fork sliders
    520 quick change with gearing
PC V w/ Quick shifter (std shift)
    Full Termi Exhaust w/ ECU
    Ducati Performance Slipper Clutch
Cox Rad. and Oil cooler guard
    Crap Bodywork (spray bomb)
Nice Bodywork (Armour Bodies SB, at paint shop now)
    Nemesis TCS System (was $2600!)
    Ducati Performance Rear Stand
    Ducati Performance Tall windscreen
Engine blueprinted by Donnie @ Duc Pond…. crank/rod/piston balanced, crank roller bearings replaced, cam timing…128hp at the rear wheel. Runs fantastic, sounds f'in EVIL!

Price as above, $15k FIRM - no tire-kickers, no bullshitters. It's a purpose built race bike, either you can buy it or you can't. I will not part it, nor will I waste everyone's time taking pictures of the swingarm nuts. No trades, no negotiations. It's a steal at that price as duplicating it would cost you $25k-$30k. I paid $14k, then put $6k into it immediately (not including the wheels below).

If you want more, I have a set of Marchesini Magnesium Wheels for it, never installed, complete with Brembo T-Drive Rotors for an additional $2000 (retail on the combo is close to $4000). That means $17k gets you one of the most jealousy inducing 848s out there.

Anyone can vouch for my "spare no expense" build philosophy - make it the fault of the rider, never the equipment.

Email is best - ryan(dot)peters(at)nesba(dot)com - I can't get the mileage at the moment as I've got the tank off to get everything painted, but believe it's around 800 miles.

Haha, do you know bwhip? He's your counterpart with regards to selling awesome expensive Italian bikes that he's modded to the nines, and then not kept for very long because there's something else that came along. I know him from another forum... LOL.

At any rate, I know someone considering an 848, I'll forward the info. I need a winning Lotto ticket. That's a sweet bike and a great deal!

Hahaha - just talked to the painter; switching to the traditional Ducati red to better appeal to the purists out there.

Throw those R8 lights on it and I'll take it

Can I go ahead and ask that you build a GSX-R750 next? Buy a new one, put all of the great stuff on it, ride it for a few events, and then sell it to me at an outrageous deal. I was just drooling over your former BMW this past weekend.

Good luck with the sell Ryan. It shouldn't be here too long.
